MIP Stinger tuned pipe |
I added the tuned pipe so the engine would run a little cooler and found that this also helped with the all around performace of the truck. It also doesn't fall off when the suspension arm hits it, like the stock pipe. |
Steel spur gear and clutch bell |
I replaced these due to wear. I bent the chassis and did not realize it until the gears had worn uneaven. The steel spur gear has a lot more spinning weight than the stock plastic one. If the slipper clutch is tight I am sure this would do some damage to the transmission. |
Pro line tires |
The proline tires made quite a bit of difference in the handling. Mainly cornering in loose dirt. They are not as big as the stock tires so landings from big jumps can be a little harder. |
Air filter |
I dont know about other kits, but the stock air filter was a joke on the Duratrax. In fact it may have contributed to the piston and sleeve wearing out prematurly. |
