Well, it seemed yet another regular weekend in the land of SarahVille.
Sarah *our lovely heroine* had a lovely weekend. On Friday she had a floor dinner, which was spent at a fabulous restaraunt called "the Spaghetti Factory", with good food, friends, and lots of fun. Later, she went out to a place called Velox. It was a party that the swimming club was hosting, and Sarah had aquired a ticket (from her lovely friend Amber), so Sarah, accompanied by her entourage of friends, spent the evening dancing away to a dj, with lights, and a BUBBLE MACHINE! (kniftiest thing ever!! the
bubbles glowed!!). Anyhoo, the evening had to come to an end, so afterwards, our lovely heroine walked home, with her friends, old and new :)
The next day, our darling was on a mission. Shopping :) She had some errands she had to run for her darling dear Pam, and as Sarah likes to put it... charging around in a mall is not frivolous, it is good quality exercise, especially if on a mission. She took different buses, to get to a mall she rarely goes too, and not once did our darling get lost. We must pause
for a moment and commend her on this glorious feat, as she has managed to get lost in *very small* towns... (we will not comment on the names of these towns as to save the pride of our beauty). Back to the story...
Sarah wandered around the mall for a few hours checking out the prices of various items, and shopping for herself. Afterwards, she went into the heart of town, to the main mall there, and then to the bookstore and purchased some new wonders... books... what marvelous things... a whole lands of enchantment bound between covers...
Our darling now owns 2 more books in the Xanth series she has:
-a spell for chameleon
-crewel lye
-dragon on a pedestal
-yon ill wind
-faun and games
not to mention that her beloved pen pal, bought her another for her birthday!! (deamon's don't dream I believe is the title). After her journey, she undertook the journey home to her castle.
Later that night, some friends wanted to go downtown to the inner harbour, and of course, Sarah wanted to come along,a nd due to the fact that she was more then welcome to join her friends, they all had a lovely time downtown (except for one lad named Andrew, who was saddened by the fact that he didn't know any childhood songs to sing a long with us.... or didn't want to...). We walked through the Empress, along the harbour, and into the
bookstore for a bit of story time.. thanks to the wonderful alison (who also knows million childrens' songs!) then home they went, another lovely evening drawn to a close.
Sunday, our last day of the weekend. Most of the day found our lovely darling in bed asleep, the afternoon was spent altering a pair of jeans she had boughten previously in the week (only $10!!! because they are dorky looking and missing a button! but not only is Sarah lovely, but talented as well, and the jeans are now fit for a fashion plate). She then spent some of the afternoon trying to work on her homepage, to fix it up and make a
section dedicated to her lovely friend Bobby-robyn, who is coming
from the heart of New Zealand to visit... Sarah is over excited, and wants to share her enthusiasm with others :) but alas, it did not work, and robyn will have to wait another day to see her name praised on sarah's homepage.
Sarah also spent part of the afternoon studying *gasp* her sign language, in order to become proficient for her next class, and as she had help from the kind francois, it went rather well.
Dinner was spent at the Cafeteria, having her usual dinner... french fries and gravy, and iced tea. :) all in all, it was a satisfying meal for our heroine (who, despite firm resolve has given up watching out for the frosh 15) (that would be the 15 lbs u instantaneously put on in university/college... it happens to most people..)
After dinner, more work was done on practicing fluency in signed english, gazing at stars, and inventing constellations and legends (a fun game to play), and then the evening gave way to a recent tradition... MOVIE NITE!
A few hours were spent with the lovely Deborah (who is gracious enough to share her movies, her room, her tv, vcr, and even more so generous.. her food), and the ever so charming matt (who has somehow miss-spent his childhood, and missed out on many Disney Classics)... Sarah has mad a firm promise to herself that she will remedy this situation, and enlighten the charming matt by allowing him the opportunity to watch many Disney movies.... with the help of Deborah, and the occasional visit from the beauty Tanya, we have already made a small bit of headway.. but even the longest journey starts with one small step, and many more will be taken before matt reaches a plateau of higher enlightenment.
But *crowd gasps* even in the near-perfect world of SarahVille, all is not well... on her way home from the movies, coming up the stair well....
*crowd is on edge of seat in anticipation*
Sarah sees... *drumroll*
a mosquitoe!!!! yes!!!! those littlebuggers are alive and
thriving already!!! we will see how this thickening of the plot
develops....
Well, the clock is ticking away, and our lovely heroine needs her beauty rest in order to continue this saga of mystery! suspense! horror! drama! romance!... so she will bid u all adieu, and retire to her bed chambers.
good night.
