A peom written in the style of Chaucer;s Canterbury Tales, or at least the Prologue. My Proloug involves a squad of soldiers returning home from assignment in an unamed jungle. After three straight days of editing, re-editing, and some more editing, I finallly got all the lines that were supposed to rhyme to line up correctly. Ti really ended up as rhymed prose, but who really gives a crap? |
A tribute to waiting till 4hours before your 9:00 AM class to finish the assignment. A bit odd, understandably. |
A sonnet, written in the approximate style of an English/Shakesperian Sonnet. I quote Geroge Orwell's 1984, "Has it ever occured to you that the whole history of English poetry has been determined by the fact that the English language lacks rhymes?" |
