1) A full service on your car can increase top speed by around 3mph.
2) When oiling parts, make sure they are completely clean or else the oil will act as grinding paste.
3) Check all nuts and bolts are tight before jumping your car, or else loose parts may be lost on landing.
4) To make sure you don't bottom out on high jumps, put a large number of pre-load spacers on your suspension.
5) When on road driving, put on the minimum number of pre-load spacers to increase traction.
THE BEST DRIVING AREAS
1) When driving off road make sure you clean your car properly and remove and large sticks etc as you go.
2) With a MSC (mechanical speed control), try not to drive near water because if you have low batteries, your car will go off on its last command!
3) Abandoned school playing fields and playgrounds make an ideal race circuit (thanks Filands in Malmesbury!!).
4) I tend to pick areas with tarmac/asphalt and off road so you can do a good variety of driving.
5) Don't pick largely populated area's to drive in, especially if your car might get stolen!
