In Internet Explorer making font size smaller by clicking View -> Text size -> Smaller improves the layout (gibbersh disappears).
Installing fonts is fairly easy. Just download the fonts, go to Control Panel, click on Fonts, click on Install new fonts in file menu, browse to the directory of your downloaded fonts and click OK. Close and reopen your browser to test it.
Marathi is a difficult language, especially for online purposes. We are also trying to promote webpages in Marathi. There are initial difficulties like installing fonts, etc but a Marathi lover would not mind these as after installing these fonts, he can create a document in Marathi too. A well printed Marathi letter looks very nice indeed. In this computer age, we should not allow a beautiful language like Marathi to perish, Should we?
I have added two more fonts Hindi-10 and Hindi-11 in the file Marathi.zip available here or www.cgpi.org/pages/corepages/download.aspx and www.angelfire.com/pop/top4/fonts/which though not needed for this website should augment capabilites for creating Marathi documents.
