Our Beer
What is the difference between ale and beer?
Well beer is a term describing all beers and ales.  Ale is describing top-fermented beers only. Ale is typically heavier than regular beer.

Mike Lee has 5 kinds of beer: Honey Cream Ale, Munichboch, Spanish Rogue, El Conquestador, and the original Pale Ale (the picture to the right and down below.

Honey Cream Ale

Honey Ale is fermented warm like traditional cream ales but features an added twist- wildflower honey from Texas.  Honey imparts a dry, refreshing character to the beer becasue it ferments almost completely.  The honey comes from a beekeeper in Ennis, a town about 20 miles north of Ferris.

Mike Lee's Honey Cream Ale is a light, smooth, medium bodied ale with a creamy head, hints of honey and crisp light finiish.  It is available in a 12 oz.- 6 pack, a special 3 litre bottle, and on draft.

Munichbock

Munichboch is a German-style Maibock made with ale yeast- deep honey in color with a malty aroma.  Rich hearty falvor and a well balanced finish.  It was created from Northwest Harrington, Klages, Maier Munich and Carastan malts, along with Perle and Saaz hops.

Spanish Rogue

The Spanish rogue is delicately spiced with smoked chipolte peppers.  Deep golden in color rich malty aroma, delicately smoth and crisp flavor and a subtle chipolte chili fhinsh.  SR was creadted from Northwest Harrington, Klages, and Maier Munich malts; Wiallamette and Cascade hops; smoked chipolte peppers.  It is available in a 22 oz. bottle and on draft.
El Conquestador

In Britain, seasonal brews for winter are high in alcohol, robust, malty and dark. The two main styles of these brews are Old Ales and Barleywines.  As the name suggests, barleywines are similar to wines in alcohol and need aging but are derived from grain, not the grape.  We call it the cognac of beers.  Intense, robust, malty and dark.  A huge beer in a little bottle, this is a beer designed for sipping.  It is available in a 12 oz. bottle and on draft.
