Welcome to my home page! Today was the first Christmas in my new house.  Check out the link to see all the pictures.  I am loving home ownership and having Kim and her children living with me.  There have been a few bumps in the road -- surgery for kidney cancer in September was a pretty big one.  Losing my Mother in December was a really big one.  However, I'm trying to remember to count my blessings.

Gracie has been quite the little Houdini lately.  While I was on a business trip in May she escaped from her palace and spent 6 days free.  Mind you, she came out to greet me within five minutes of my arrival.  I think she discovered that total freedom is not as comfortable as her home.  In the new house she has managed to escape several times.  Her favorite hiding place is beside the dishwasher.  Getting her out was fun!

I must not forget to give equal time to Bare, my eleven-year-old cat.  I inherited him from a friend and he has already trained me pretty well.  Sure was nice to have him around to nap with while I was recovering from surgery.  Click here to see some pictures of my pretty boy.

Speaking of pets... my sister is involved with North Coast Siberian Rescue.
