Poems of Love

                                             Deep Love
The love they want, but the concept they will not conceive, not held and thus not understood, but mere accident with purpose, it is always there but cannot be released by any easy means, but a collage of questions and thoughts that lead relentlessly to an ending that is never known, what we want is never clear. Until, we can remove our own heart, look it in the eyes, converse, and understand, then we shall know love and be in its presence. Until then, it shall plague us with questions of direction and purpose that may never be answered.

Rainbowphobic
By Joshua Hildebrand

The fear within is without,
The power needed to succeed,
For no force can come between,
The bond that binds the hearts of ours,
Anger wilts after failed attempts,
For our love always reigns,
The disputes, all shall pass,
But my heart is yours to keep,

As your guardian angel I shall be,
Always there by your side,
Captured, enslaved by your eyes,
Falling deeper into your love,
Past the point of no return,
Crying out, to be with you,
Entranced by your precious voice,
Your embrace is all I crave,

The distance hurts
But is worth the pain,
For soon the separation will be no more,
In my arms you shall be,
In perfect bliss I shall dwell,
In this bliss we shall always be,
For loves welcome will never end,
Together we will stay,
Together we will love.

A Perfect Rose
By Joshua Hildebrand
Out of many I chose a single rose,
This rose was like no other,
For not a single thorn could I find,
Just an overwhelming love and beauty,
Its love quickly surrounded me,
Till love was all I could see,
Then I realized this was not a rose,
But in fact was much more,
What I had found was a rare, perfect love,
The love I found in you!

I am very pleased to announce that the above peom "A Perfect Rose" is being published and will appear in The International Library Of Poetry's newest book "From The Mountain Top".
