Says Torrington police working to 'curb' incidents

TORRINGTON — Police Chief Robert Milano apologized Thursday for a sex scandal that lolita sex stories he acknowledged has cost his department some hard-won public confidence.

Homeless sex offender back in jail

BANTAM - A convicted sex passionate sex offender who told police he is homeless is back in custody. On Monday, Bantam Superior Court Judge Cara Eschuk ordered bond set at $75,000 in the case brought against 36-year-old Michael J. Carey.
Carey is charged with barnyard sex violation of probation. He was arrested Monday after surrendering to Winchester police.
