Warning for new tenants: safety tips regarding locks before you move in |
It is highly recommended you change one of the two locks to your dwelling, or that you install a second lock, if only
one is present now. At all times and in all areas of the city, there have always been thefts without any sign of a break-in. Replacing one of the locks or installing a second one turns away thieves or, at least, increases the odds that they will fail.
Should you move to another MSInc dwelling, NITA might be able to temporarily loan you a second lock, until you have an opportunity to install your own.
