Villain of the Year
There is a lackage of hot villains these days. Although Vannie would protest that Jack Spicer from "Xiaolin Showdown" is pretty hot, the answer is NO. Hm... Sidekick of the Year, if we had that category... i'd probably give it to Ron Stoppable from "Kim Possible". hahahaha... or GEAR from "Static Shock"! Aaaaaaanyways... back to the task at hand, which gets harder and harder to do every singe year. I considered doing Harry Osborne, but he wasn't exactly BAD... yet, anyway. So, i had to scrum up a new bad guy. Good thing i'd read some of the A Series of Unfortunate Events books...
Now i haven't seen the movie yet, but i know enough about Count Olaf to know that he is a totally creepy guy. And yeah, i think Jim Carrey'd do a pretty decent job playing him. He's creepy in the most eccentric way. Count Olaf is an actor, the closest relative of the Baudelaire orphans (Violet, Klaus, and Sunny), and therefore he becomes their guardian after their parents die. The problem is, all Count Olaf really wants is the Baudelaire fortune, and he'll do anything to get it. In fact he tries to marry Violet in the first book, which is really gross... the books are highly entertaining, esp since Lemony Snicket, the guy who writes the books, is pretty kooky himself. Lemony Snicket is a penname of course, but the author has gone so far as to write an "autobiography" for Lemony Snicket, too. All in all it's fun stuff...
And I think Klaus is cute. I am NOT a pedophile!!! >:O
