Artist of the Year
It turns out that when it comes to bands, i don't usually play favorites with the lead singer. I make exceptions in some cases (i.e. The Calling and All-American Rejects), but still... sometimes the other band members aren't given enough time in the spotlight. People forget about the band because they're too busy having the lead singer shoved in their face. For example, Avril Lavigne. Who wants to look at her? She can't really sing live worth crap. She had a hot guitarist named Evan Taubenfeld... not enough exposure time, really. Oh, well. Shit happens.
Chahlie! You have to say it the way Claire says it or else it just isn't fun. Come now, you guys... there is a kick-ass line-up set for this year on Wednesdays on ABC. "Lost" followed by "Alias"? Sheebies! Sorry, but i don't watch "Alias". Although i did run into Michael Vartan in this movie where Patrick Swayze and Wesley Snipes were drag queens... that was interesting. Anyways, back to Charlie Pace. :) I was freaking out cuz i really wanted Dom to be in the MotY again because i am IN LOVE with Charlie... even though he's a drug addict and stuff. Charlie was the bass player in a band called Drive Shaft. He had me at "You all, everybody!" He's an interesting character. He was in Drive Shaft with his older brother, Liam, who was the lead singer. In the beginning Charlie made Liam promise that if either of them ever wanted to pull out of the entertainment business, they would pull out together. Later on when Charlie saw how the whole band thing was not only destroying his relationship with Liam but also making Liam self-destructive, he wanted to pull out. Except by this time Liam didn't want to. So Charlie stayed on, got addicted to Liam's drugs... that sort of thing. But he seems happier on the island. He has Claire. They're adorable together. :)
