Artist of the Year
What can i say? This year was a pretty good year for music. The world was given Tyson of the All-American Rejects. I discovered Billy Martin of Good Charlotte as well as the lead singer of The Strokes... who looks kind of hot in a scary way... but maybe that's just the lighting in the "12:51" music video. Awesome song. Download it if you haven't already. But of course, this isn't about any of them, is it? No, not particularly...
You know it was going to happen. Dashboard Confessional releases their new CD, "A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar" and i would finally realize that, no, Chris Carabba is not as hideous as the first time i saw him in that one ym magazine. Trust me. It was so bad, every time i listened to "Screaming Infidelities" i got sick and had to cover my ears and go "LALALALALALA! That's not what the lead singer of Dashboard Confessional looks like! IT can't be!" And then my cousin bought a magazine right before their new CD came out, and i did see the error of ym's ways... that's why i stopped suscribing to it... ha... So anyways, Chris Carabba is actually quite cool. Before he dedicated his life to music, he was an elementary school teacher. YEah... and before Mr. Ha dedicated his life to torturing juniors in high school, he was in the LAPD. Go figure on life-altering decisions in your mid-twenties...
