Safety issues for any product are the responsibility of the adult customer and the manufacturer. If any item fails and injures any person we cannot become liable over the responsibilities of the manufacturer. They engineered the product and the liability must rest with them. When you purchase any product from us you agree to this and understand that we had no part in manufacturing the problem product. You must contact the manufacturer for litigation of damages for that product defect. Our company has no say or input into any manufacturing process that provided the product. That is why we refuse liability for the defective products that manufacturers might produce. The same applies to product recalls.
Safe products are very important to us. We closely inspect and study each product for defects or dangers. If we find any product deficient in safety or workmanship we make every attempt to eliminate it from our catalogs. We will not knowingly sell defective or dangerous products. It should be understood that any item purchased for any child with mental handicaps can become dangerous if the child is not properly supervised. No product that we sell is completely safe if the parent doesn't attempt to protect the child with a handicap. Their is no substitute for good parental supervision.
Damaged Products: We make every effort to return damaged merchandise to the place of manufacture and give the customer a refund or a new replacement product. Once a normal inspection of every item is confirmed that it is in good condition, and the customer accepts the item in working order, the manufacturer warranties will apply after 5 business days.
Warranties: We do not provide warranties. It is the responsibility of the customer to fill out and submit any warranty information to the manufacturer so that the product warranties will apply. We will not submit warranties to a manufacturer.
It is the responsibility of the customer to report defective products to the manufacturer by the date required in that warranty. Any shipping costs connected to returning the item to the manufacturer will belong solely to the customer. We cannot refund shipping costs for any item.
Notice: We deal with many merchants and they all have different return policies. For this reason we cannot imply, extend, modify or submit warranties for products that our representatives sell. In some cases we may not be able to furnish the manufacturer warranties. The customer may have to write directly to the manufacturer to obtain that warranty. If this is the case, we will inform you of that and supply the name and address of the manufacturer or the source from which to obtain the warranty.
Recalled items are the customer's responsibility. We have no control over manufacturer and Government recalls. We make every effort to check the list of recalls before we sell Baby Gear and we have no control over what any manufacturer may or may not do with their products. If a product is recalled within 30 days from the time that we sell the item to you, we will inform you of that recall if and when we become aware of it. The return shipping will be the responsibility of the customer or the manufacturer. The manufacturer will be responsible for any refunds, adjustments or repairs of that product for the customer. We will discontinue that item until the problem is solved.
We want our customers to be happy with their purchases but if an item malfunctions after 5 days the manufacturer warranty will apply. If any product warranty expires we cannot do anything to enforce that warranty for any product. All warranties are the sole responsibility of the manufacturer.
Please be aware that unexpected add-ons to any job that were not on the original estimate will require full payment at the time of your new request. It may take several weeks to receive any additional add-on electronics so please be patient. Additional installation of any add-ons may or may not require an extra fee depending upon the specific situation. If there are problems with your order we will notify you as soon as possible. If our representatives make a mistake with your initial product order we will make it right. If a product that you ordered becomes unavailable a refund will be issued to you if you want one. Sometimes a suitable substitution may become available at your discretion. We appreciate your business and we will be reasonable and reliable with all our customers whenever possible.
Wired Alarm Systems that cover larger homes and properties will be installed by a certified sub-contractor who has been approved by us. Their specifications and requirements on guarantees for parts, service, labor and job scheduling will be different from ours. They will provide you with an accurate estimate for your unique situation. The sub-contractor that we have approved will be responsible for completing that wired alarm installation. The sub-contractor is responsible for any defects that need to be remedied with that job at some point in time. In the beginning, if there are special considerations that require our input, it is our job to advise them on what needs to be accomplished with your system installation but only if special security needs arise before the job is begun. If that is necessary a $50 travel fee will be applied for the additional service and you will be informed of that beforehand. Ultimately, it is their professional responsibility to do the right thing by you. If any equipment they install becomes defective we cannot assume responsibility. They must do so as part of their individual service and installation contract agreement with you. Their product warranties will apply. You are advised to call us if any problem arises that you feel is unfair or wrong with their installation or equipment but you must also express that to them , first. This has never happened before but because of our expertise in security matters We may be able to help solve the problem in some way as a courtesy to you. We wish to satisfy our customer's needs whenever we can. The more satisfied customers we have the more prosperous we become and, in turn, the world becomes just a bit more secure for those we all hold dear.
