The first step: a 10-hours flight from Munich, Germany to Chicago O'Hare, IL. We flew with "Lufthansa" in the economy class, that means no space, no good food and only 2 movies... lol But at least we didn't have problems with turbulences like the AFS-students on the plane to Dallas/Fort Worth had... |

At the airport in Chicago we had to WAIT. We were standing there for half an hour waiting for the bus... At least it was warm out (ca. 90 F). |

This picture was taken in the bus on our 8!!-hour ride to St. Paul, MN. We (19 german exchange-students and Scott) watched some movies and stopped at a restaurant, but actually we were all just TIRED! |

In St Paul we stayed at St Kates University for a 1-day orientation together with hundreds of other AFS exchange-students from all over the world. WE HAD LOTS OF FUN! |

That's a picture of the dorms we had to stay in. What you can't see is that it was hot, they had no airconditioning and it stank... |

Here's a picture of all the exchange-students waiting for their hostfamilies to pick them up. |
