17 DAYS Code: NTE/TIB/01 Mount Kailash (Kangrinpoche) is situated in the Western part of the Tibet, has been considered sacred by Buddhists, Hindus, Jains and Bompons for thousands of the years. For the Hindus and Buddhists, it is the center of the universe. A pilgrimage to the mountain and round it, is such a supreme goal for the faithful, it is easy to understand how after, walking overland for weeks or months, they feel, they are really approaching the center of the universe since ancient times. Mt. Kailash has been revered as the source of four of the great rivers of the Asia, fuelled by the waters of nearby holy lake Manasarover. Rivers Indus, Brhmaputra (Tsangpo), Karnali (The sacred Ganges) have their sources within sixty miles of the mountain. One can reach this centre of the universe by joining our group or making separate tours/ treks. Day 02: Day visit to Potala Palace, Norbulingka, Jokhang and return to Lhasa and Overnight Hotel. Day 03: Day visit to Drepung, Sera and Overnight Hotel. Day 04: Drive from Lhasa to Gyantse and overnight Hotel. Day 05: Drive from Gyantse to Xigatse and overnight Hotel. Day 06: Drive from Xigatse to Xegar and overnight Hotel. Day 07: Drive from Xegar to Saga and overnight trekking camp. Day 08: Trek from Saga to Paryang and overnight trekking camp. Day 09: Trek from Patyang to Darchhan and overnight trekking camp. Day 10: Darchhan-Rdest day and overnight trekking camp. Day 11: Trek from Darchhan to Driraphung and overnight trekking camp. Day 12: Trek from Driraphung to just below Drolma La and overnight trekking Camp. Day 13: Trek from Drolma La to Darchhan and then
drive to Mansarovar and Overnight trekking camp.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. Meet at the airport and transfer to the Hotel. Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley with guide. Day 03: Fly to Nepalgunj, overnight in hotel. (If enough time, visit to Royal Bardiya National Park). Day 04: Fly to Simikot (2950m.) and trek to Kermi (2930m.) (3 hrs.) Day 05/09: Trek to Yanger (3590m) (5-6 hrs.), Michu (3120 m.) (6-7 hrs), Yari (3240 m.) (6-7 hrs.) , Hisla (4620m.) (6-7 hrs.) , Khoja (5410 m.) (6-7 hrs.) Day 11: Drive to Darchen (4560m.)
Day 13: Trek to Jarkot Donkhang. Day 14: Trek to Zutul Phuk. Day 15: Trek ends at Darchen.
Day 22 Morning visit Tashithumpu Monastery and drive to Gyangtse and visit Khumbu Stupa and Phalkor Monastery Ho Gyantse. Day 23 Full day picturesque drive crossing over Karola (5010m.), Kambala Putra (Yarlung Tsengpo). Holiday inn NW, Lhasa. Day 24/25 Two full days sight-seeing in Lhasa City including Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazar, Potala Palace, Drepung and Shera Monasteries. Day 26: Early morning drive to Gonggar Airport for Final Departure. Day 27/28: Free and Easy in Kathmandu. Day 29: Final Departure from Kathmandu. Note: Road conditions between Nepal and Tibet may deteriorate at certain times of the year resulting in routings having to be revised, which may entail additional costs.
