History of our band
Chris Farina had a vision to start a band, and in early April of 2001 it became a reality, with the addition of Eric and Alex. In late April, the trio were looking for a vocalist. Chris turned to his close friend and last resort as the new singer.
Thus, the band was formed. Looking for a name, they came across a sticker which read the shocking revelation of "Fat People are Harder to Kidnap". We chose this name for our band in sheer humor. The band played punk cover songs
DICTATED by Eric. E.g. The Ramones, Green Day, and Nirvana. The quartet played long through the summer. In late August something went deathly wrong. Eric was in surgery for a stick-in-the-ass-ectomy, and being the controlling fashion punk he was he decided to exit the band. The band didn't practice then for two months. But in early November the new trio had a passionate urge to play together again. So they did, but it wasn't the same without a bassist.
The hunt was on for a new bassist with madd skills and a passion to play. Alex and Graham searched the hallways of Southview for an "ace of bass". During this time, Chris discovered the hyper-dope-nastic sounds of Will. Will astonished the trio with his
supa-funkadelic-fretting powers and was quickly welcomed into the band. Also Will's ability to make pancakes astonished the band and he makes a GREAT chef. All the while Eric was stuck at home "greasing his salami." That day "Fat People Were Harder to Kidnap."
The band now had new meaning. Leaving its false Eric pretences, the band moved on to more technical music, playing writing all of its own songs with only two covers. The band now practices weekly and is doing fine. We all love to play, and no, we have nothing against fat people, we are just stating basic physics!
                                                                     Enjoy,
