[check out my HomeMadeVCD section!! (Upgraded Nirvana Videos) ]

Hi, I have an interest in Video and Sound editing, and my love of the band means I spend countless hours of my free time devoted to Upgrading Nirvana Videos with better 'Soundboard' or Master 'Dat' sound sources. It takes ages but im beginning to upgrade shows myself. I really do recommend them too. If they are listed on my site they are probably worth getting purely for the increased enjoyment through better audio and near perfect lip-synch, (well to the best of my ability vs Time constraints).

Hello. Welcome to 'LOUNGE ACT' my Nirvana Bootlegs Page. This site was created with the intention of expanding my Nirvana bootleg collection. Therefore If you are interested in obtaining any of my recordings listed here feel free to drop me an E-Mail. Iam interested in any Nirvana recording that I dont own, and upgrades as well. I also trade for other bands, and the same rule applies. Thanks!

NOTE - The sections marked Nirvana HM-DVD's and HM-VCD's are my own HM (Home Made) DVD and VCD collections. These are available for trade. I enjoy creating better quality versions of shows. The way I do this is to get hold of a low gen video, and use audio sourced from a DAT or SoundBoard recording of that same show. I then rip the video and Audio onto my CPU and begin matching the audio to the video (which is the hard and extremely tedious/time consuming phase of the creation. Lip-synch is a bit by bit process!

Here is an example of what i can do... Grab a low gen private video of 2-22-94. Then rip a soundboard Audio CD ie 'Roma' from the same show. Match the sound to the video on my CPU and inevitably end up with a VCD version of 2-22-94 which has excellent picture and more importantly excellent sound sourced from a soundboard, this solves the problem with most nirvana videos which have poor sound due to the lack in fidelity in MOST video recorder microphones of the late 80s, early 90s.. Other projects on the agenda are: Melbourne 1-31-92 Video with Melbourne 2-1-92 Pre-Fm Soundboard Audio. This, once matched correctly will actually look like its all the one show when really its a mix of picture from one and sound from another show. (i have had a little look at this before edit, and i can tell you it improves the effect of watching a show dramatically with improved sound). - Daniel.
