The Makings of You
Memories flood your head.
Of a person that was once dear to you.
You have drifted apart.
Not knowing much about them anymore.
You can't forget the things you've done together.
So fun then seems so silly now.
You grew together.
You wonder if both of you have the same memories of the past.
Do they know how certain things you did together mean so much to you?
Does a memory of you stick out in their mind?
Did your presence in there life change them as it changed you?
Those many people who gave you a small part of themselves to create who you
are now.
Don't forget them, and thank them for helping to build the wonderfulness you see in the mirror.
