Infatuation

I love you, when I talk to you
My eyes turn so blue.
Blue like water
Your voice making me hotter.
Hot like fire
My heart filled with desire.
My love burning
It is yearning.
Yearning for a kiss
To ignite our bliss.
My love for you can't be missed
It's up to you if it can exist.

Why me?

There's a girl you really like
Then along comes a guy named Mike
You don't take any chances
You pass up these romances
You ask yourself Why Me?

It's your senior year in high school
You fly by it like a fool
Don't join any sports, clubs or teams
Life sucks, so it seems
You ask yourself Why Me?

Your talent you don't reveal
Nobody makes you a deal
Others become great stars
You end up at all the bars
You ask yourself Why Me?

Don't go through life in a breeze
Take the time to stop and freeze
Look at the world around
Listen to every sound
Or you'll ask yourself
Why Me?

Reality of It All

Alone I sit here at night
Waiting for you to come into sight.
I search and I search around
But you are nowhere to be found.
Where in this world did you go?
How could you hurt me so?
Wait a second, I think I hear you.
Oh no, just the wind blowing through.
Just give me a chance,
I'll destroy your defiance.
What is so wrong?
For your love I do long.
We used to cuddle and kiss,
But now that is all missed.
My heart is a heavy weight,
By now it's probably too late.
However, I did try,
As I surely did cry.
I guess it's time for me to move on,
For you are sadly gone.

Life's Glorious People

People in life come and go
Some to talk, some to show.
"Show what?" we ask
Maybe a simple task.
Then there are those
Who become our foes.
But we remember most of all
Those who answer our call.
Calls of help, calls of love
Were they sent from up above?
People come, people go
Either way we all grow.
Look to those around,
Listen to their sounds.
Sometimes we feel down
So we sadly frown.

Let the people who count most stay awhile,
They'll turn that frown into a smile.
Don't let people come and go,
For we reap what we sow.
