Pinstripes?

There has never been a less deserving person

 

Don’t get me wrong, I loved him in Boston, I was sad when he went to Toronto, but seeing him celebrating in pinstripes made me want to puke! He hitched a ride to the Series, going 14-10 with his worst year. The ‘Texas Con Man’ then pitched one of the lowest pressure World Series games in history.

I still believe despite this Game 4 performance that Roger crashes under pressure. Look at his two wins with NY, both were the clinchers in a sweep, against a poor hitting team. This combo creates the least pressure situations available in the playoffs. The only important game he pitched was the ALCS Game 3 vs. Boston. The Sox were only down 0-2 in a pair of nail-biters. Roger couldn’t last 3 innings and left the series with a 22.50 ERA. Contrast that with Pedro Martinez who pitched 17 consecutive scoreless innings in the 99 playoffs.

 

He once said he would never leave Boston to go anywhere but home to Houston and the National League, but then he ends up in NY

Roger has joined the Hated List.
