How did I get to use the name NIRO as my codename? Well, it was formulated by my husband, Roger. So, that's how simple it is. He put together the first two syllables of our name and ... NIRO was born. I know that it's not such a unique name but for any woman, isn't it just sweet that your husband was the one who coined your names together to produce a new one? Well, if not for you, it is for me ... right ?

How did I get into this ... work ? ... profession ? ... hobby ? ...

First and foremost, I had, and always have been interested with the computer world. During my university days, when PCs were not yet well developed, I already started learning computer programming. After graduation, I continued my studies into learning the different programming languages ... from BASIC to COBOL to PASCAL to C to ... the machine language. When I had my first job, it did not deal with computers, so I wasn't able to practice my knowledge, although I kept abreast of the current technologies. My succeeding jobs were often the software usage.

It never crossed my mind that I will be dealing with my first interest . . . computer programming. And now, here I am, developing Webpages, but just as a hobby. Most of my time is being spent in front of a computer, developing pages, because I also do my own graphics and animations. But, thanks to the internet, we can now download several graphics and animations. And many thanks to Dr. Burns, whom I get most of the tricks and treats of developing my pages.

Currently here in Germany, I am working in my husband's business of building Fireplaces, Ceramic-ovens and Heating system using wood and sun as the source of energy. Our company works only on "CO2-neutral-systems".

Oh, and by the way, has anyone of you seen the 1973 rock-movie "Jesus Christ Superstar" starring Ted Neeley as Jesus and Carl Anderson as Judas? Not yet? Better grab a copy of the movie and see what you're missing all these years :-)

From the day I watched the movie in 1973 until now, I have been a Ted Neeley admirer, and am glad to be a Tedhead member. Seeing Ted play the role of Jesus makes me really feel the life of THE Jesus a week before his crucifixion.
