I have got something to share with you. This website is going to retire soon, but good news is, I am in the process of creating another with my domain name. Click www.nirmuhi.com. Wish me good luck and keep visiting this website for latest updates. Hope to see you soon ! Dated: 25th December, 2003 ...

Hi, myself, Nirmal Kumar, born and brought up in a steel city, Bokaro Steel City , now in Jharkhand, India. Dad is an electrical engineer (now retd after working in SAIL for nearly 30 years) and Mom, school teacher in Jharkhand govt. school (still working). I am only son, with a beautiful and generous elder sister, now married and settled in Delhi, with her hubby, working in bank, and their lovely son, Samir Anand (Sam) .

Well, this website was originally created, around 4 years ago, for the purpose of displaying my photographs, which still happens to be my prime hobby. started 15 years back, from a small camera of just 500 rupees, I now have a canon SLR, along with 300mm canon zoom, Sony digital still camera, and also Panasonic camcorder. apart from photography, I love driving, thanks to my US Trip, I have driven more than 600 miles in a single day (ten million thx to u). Lately I have been driving 5 speed monster. I also love traveling, given a chance, I will spend my whole life in traveling. I am also mad about movies, there has been a time in my life, when I saw more than 40 movies in just one month. My favorites being movies of Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Tom Hanks (Forest Gump, Cast Away, Philadelphia), Anthony Hopkins (Dr. Hannibal Lecter series), James Bond movies, Julia Roberts, Russel Crowe movies, and of course, Godfather. Now, as I am in chennai, every weekend I definitely see at least one movie at theatre. I also listen to all kinds of music, esp. slow ones. Lately, I have been listening to attaulah khan and jagjit singh . I like Kishore Kumar, Talat Mehmood, RD Burman but I am mad about Abhijeet's voice. To me, he is the greatest singer. I have more than 4500 mp3 songs. I also consider myself reasonably good player of table and lawn tennis. but, like every Indian, I love cricket, and big fan of Kapil and Sachin. apart from these, I want to write a book, and fly a plane, which seems impossible as of now.

About my education, I have done masters in engineering from Indian Institute of Science. and Bachelor of engineering from Birsa Institure of Technology, Sindri. I did my schooling from Guru Govind Singh Public School and Kendriya Vidyalaya No-2 , now in Jharkhand, India. presently i am working as software engineer in TATA Consultancy Services in Chennai. At present I can be reached through email at [email protected].

"It is a curious sensation: the sort of pain that goes mercifully beyond our powers of feeling. When your heart is broken, your boats are burned: nothing matters any more. It is the end of happiness and the beginning of peace. " George Bernard Shaw (18561950)

"55 Years back we fought for our independence against aliens. Today we are fighting for our right to live, to exist. We will not go quietly into the night, we will not banish without a fight, we are going to live on, we are going to survive. We will extirpate corruption and hatred, and spread harmony and peace. Today, on 55th Independence Day, we should take on oath, that we shall together, work for common goal, leaving personal differences, and shall make this world much more beautiful place to live on, and will pass the same to generations to come. Happy Independence Day too All" 15th August 2002
