Now besides Rishikesh, Haridwar and Mussoorie there were innumerable places all over Punjab and Harayana, (especially Karnal) where men and women went as pilgrims to enjoy the ecstasy of immortal message of HIS Name. It is hard to believe that five elements could support and sustain a frail frame that brought light and contentment in the lives of so many men and women.

The dawn of the twentieth century witnessed the coming of a holy man to the land of the Rishis. To carry on the great task of pursuing the study of scriptures (especially Vedas), that the Tenth Master Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji Maharaj had entrusted to the five dedicated Sikhs of the Nirmal Sect, Baba Buddha Singh ji set-up Nirmal Ashram in Rishikesh. Devotees drawn from all parts of the country and especially from the Sindh province, would come to listen to the discourses of the great Saint. Before merging into eternity he beckoned Mahant Atma Singh ji to keep the light on which the later did with all devotion. Nirmal Ashram at Kankhal, Haridwar and Mussoorie flourished during the time of Mahant Atma Singh ji.
Before that there had appeared a great light that had brought peace, solace and enlightenment in the lives of people. This was the great and hallowed being of Sant Baba Nikka Sigh ji Maharaj. Led by the Divine force Baba Nikka Singh ji "Virakat" wandered all around to spread HIS message.

There were Ashrams! There were means and resources!
Those starving for spiritual nourishment came and went back after satiating their thirst for his Name. Sant Baba Ram Singh ji brought Peace to many an ailing soul. The Baba wanted to help man to be at peace himself. It is essential for man to be physically fit in order to discharge his worldly and spiritual duties. So he thought of relieving man of the misery that disease in body brought to man. The tradition of feeding those who needed to be fed had been carried on since the time of Mahant Atma Singh ji. Now there was the need to help people keeping their bodies healthy.

To carry on the work initiated by Mahant Baba Buddha Singh ji and Mahant Atma Singh ji Mahant Narain Singh ji was chosen by Sant Baba Nikka Singh ji. After the demise of Mahant Naraian Singh ji the torch was passed on to Sant Baba Ram Singh ji who was anointed the Mahant by Sant Baba Nikka Singh ji to carry on the mission in the name of God and Guru. He had always responded to the wishes of his path-finder erasing his own desires right from the time he had obtained permission of Sant Baba Nikka Singh ji to relinquish a lucrative job and surrendered himself completely to the will of the great Savant.

So there came the Nirmal Ashram Hospital. One of the few hospitals equipped with the latest machines and offering the most modern facilities where the poor can look forward to receiving the kind of treatment only lucky few can do. Today, the suffering humanity from the remote area of the upper ranges of the hills come here, get cured and go back full of gratitude for the Baba.

Then the noblest idea of bringing Light into the lives of His children was translated into reality. Nirmal Ashram Deepmala Pagrani Public School was founded at Shyampur on January 1st 1997. Classes were started with 372 boys and girls on April 1st, and today with the grace of God there are more than 800 students. (100 boarders) being educated along most modern lines. In this area when education has been thoroughly commercialized, NDS is perhaps one of the few centers of learning where imparting quality education remains a mission. The school is housed in one of the finest building that any good school in the region may boast of. Mahant Baba Ram Singh ji travels widely to spread His message. Looking after the Ashrams, School and hospital and developing them as He reveals unto him is his wont.

His sublime will is accomplished by Sant Jodh Singh ji Maharaj. He is an inspired soul totally dedicated to the good of HIS children. The zeal with which he works is amazing. Whether it is construction work, looking for the latest equipment for the hospital or designing new projects Sant Jodh Singh ji always displays a deep understanding and grasp of the intricacies of the matter. Anything that attracts his attention grows and culminates in a perfect manner. The School and Hospital receive his benign care all the time.

The institutions are making rapid progress and development most aesthetically is all because of his deep involvement and munificent guidance. His Holiness Mhant Baba Ram Singh ji and Sant Jodh Singh ji Maharaj are engaged in the great and noble task of bringing peace, harmony, perfection and a sense of contentment and fulfillment in the lives of man.
