Jhaniss Yauntyrr
This half drow, half moon-elf's childhood has been completely lost in the vagaries of time, as she cannot recall more than vague snatches of it, and there is no one to tell her of it, even insofar as who her parents were, and how it was that she, seen as abominations by both sides of her heritage, came to be.
As early as she can recall, what would have been the 'teen' years by human reckoning, she lived by her wits and by her natural abilities - the primary of which being her grace and agility.  Being that she was a devotee of Eilistraee - theoretically a remnant from one or the other of her lost parents - both served her well; it also helped her in seeing the lighter side of her predicaments.
For most of her life, the dancing that she did to honor Eilistraee was very near to the only true joy she found in life, however.  While she is not ordained as a priestess, she knows nearly all the forms and rituals - including even the most complex - to honor her Goddess, picked up bits at a time during her wanderings.
As she grew older, she gained both more- and less-respectable skills, earning her meals and shelter any way she could.  Most preferrable was by the dancing she so loved, and exceeded at so well.  Also acceptable was employing her talented fingers in seamstressing.  If necessary, however, she would use her agility in less....  acceptable.... pursuits.
This lifestyle led her over a great portion of Ardhon en'Miev, the main continent of her world.  She has seen many sights, both fearsome and awe-inspiring, but none has been so wonderous to her as the easy acceptance she has found in the eyes of the people of the city of Arytiris Benerel; nor the acceptance and even love - a thing she never thought to see for her - in the eyes of the Bard she met there, Verbatum Rissard.
