Arlinavian
There are times this Amrun'quessir-Sunrise Elf-seems a vision spun of gold and the rays of the sun itself.  But remember... the sun's rays can both harm and heal.

She was born in Ardhoni'anar, the Land of the Sun, into a people to whom the Sun was sacred; to them, it was the face of the Sunlord Heru-Ivaear looking down upon the world.  He was seen as the Defender, the Strength, the sometimes harsh Master.  Alongside him, they worshipped Avaenarsurinya, his Consort.  She embodied the Healing, Comfort and Growth that the Sun brought.

As soon as she was born, her family recognized her as Suorin Edi'anar-Blessed of the Sun-by her unusual golden coloration.  She was taken to the Temple of the Sun, and there given over into the care of the Priestesses of Avaenarsurinya, to be raised as one of them.  To be Suorin Edi'anar was easily the highest honors within their society, for it meant that the person held a divine spark of the Sun within them, and of all those born to mortal lands, they had the closest connection to the Sun; even to be related to one of those few so Blessed was a mark of great honor.

She would spend many happy years of childhood within the temple, learning anything the Priests and Priestesses would teach her... a fount which seemed to have no end.  She also learned those skills which would allow her to control the powers which would inevitably bloom sometimes during her pubescent years; all Suorin Edi'anar had gifts from Heru-Ivaear and Avaenarsurinya, to one extent or another.

Finally it happened that her powers came to fruition... rather destructively, in fact; if her room had not been stone, as all of those in the temple were, she might well have brought the entire building down in flames.  With more training, however, she quickly learned to control them...  and just as quickly, it began to be apparent to the other Priestesses that she held more power within her then any other alive within the Temple; perhaps even more than any other, ever.

Soon after she became a full Priestess herself, she began to feel a tug, a longing, as if the Sun itself called to her to follow Its course over the world.  Such things were known to happen at times to the Suorin Edi'anar; they were called to do the Sun's work in other places.  And so she soon set out, wandering whever she felt drawn, ever devote and serene.

In time, those wanderings would lead her to Vanyanin Aran'dor, a Kingdom so distant from her own lands it was practically considered a myth in her home.  Once there, the Calling which had been with her for so many years of wandering ceased, as it had from time to time... though always before the cessation had been breif, only long enough for her to recognize and accomplish some task, or to rest her weariness.  But when she found that within the palace was living a Suorin Edi'teu-Blessed of the Moon-she realized that this must be the place that her Calling had been leading her.  Nor did it take her very long to realize that there was a deep connection between her and that Suorin Edi'teu, a Paladin of Luna, Goddess of the Moon, by the name of Asmodiun Be'Thar.  Romance quickly kindled between them... and she now expects his child.
