June 22, 2004: Well, I haven't updated this page in a while. Things have been wierd. Well, I quit my job. I know, not too bright. But the commute was doing a number on my gas tank. So I am looking for a new job, and trying to sell as much Mary Kay as possible. But it's not going well.

June 4, 2004: Okay, so this week hasn't really been much better. Due to forces beyond my control, I couldn't take the lift test to return to work until Wednesday, and they won't actually sign off, even though I passed it, because the note from my doctor doesn't actually say cleared to return to work. So I missed another entire week. :( I NEED THE MONEY. But, we've had a pretty good week on Amazon, nearly $200! That makes up a little for the money I'm not making!! I'm still not doing so hot on the Mary Kay, but I have faith that it WILL happen. I do have a new special up, so check it out on my Mary Kay page. It would be fantastic to make some MK money too! Well, since I've been off work all week I've done a lot of research into places to live. I know it's WAY off still, but I have to have hope! We really like Salt Lake City, Utah. We went to Park City for our honeymoon and found the people in SLC and PC to be very nice and friendly. And it turns out we could probably afford to buy a house there, in a few years! Okay, well, I'm off to another evening of TV watching and general bordem, drop me a line or something if you're also bored! Oh, we did get a new addition to our "family" this week. We adopted a 10 week old kitten! She's a silver tabby, her name is Lucy. We hope to have pictures up soon. So I guess Sacza, Lucy, and I will have "girls" night!

May 28, 2004: Well, this is a new section that I just decided to start. I figured you may want some updates on what we're doing. So... alas the creation of a new section!
Lemme start with how sucky my week has been. On Sunday I woke up with back spasms. I finally ended up going to my urgent care and being told not to work for the week. Since I have to lift people in my job, it's kinda rough when you get a back injury. I called my supervisor who informed me that I would also need to take a lift test before I return to work. I hate the lift test. Well, I finally called the place to take the test, and they can't get me in until NEXT WEDNESDAY!!! Ugh, I will have missed nearly two entire weeks by then. :( So, I guess I'm gonna have to try to have a few Mary Kay parties to make up for it. So far I haven't made a penny with Mary Kay. I've had a few sales, but between shipping costs and some other stuff I needed, I am not making anything. But maybe if I have a couple of parties....
As for Bruce, well, same old, same old. He's worked all week like a good employee. He's applied for a new job with a higher per hour rate, and has an interview soon, so cross your fingers for him, it would REALLY help.
Well, I'll write again next week. Have a fun and safe Memorial Day weekend. Please don't drink and drive!!!!
