Rolling for your statistics could take anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 weeks,
relying mostly on luck. Now you're wondering about which race to select
correct? Well, just take a glance below:
-
Elf - Elves have a natural
inclination to using magic and a great amount of personal pride.
Elves make excellent wizards, priests, rangers, and craftsmen, however,
their inability to wear heavy armors
generally prevent them from
becoming paladins. In addition, their tremendous personal pride prevents
them from becoming rogues.
Of the three choices, they have the highest natural intelligence, wisdom,
and do have infravision, which aids in fighting against
the Arnakians and hunting at night.
-
Half Elf - Half-elves tend
to live in the wilderness and have developed a love for animals and nature,
and strive to protect nature
from defilement. Many half-elves tend to be rangers and little else.
However, on rare occasion, a few of them may inherit the hunger for magic
which flows through their elven half and become wizards. Of the three
choices, half elfs have the highest natural constitution and dexterity.
Half elves also have infravision, inheriting the trait from their elven
half.
-
Tamian - Tamians are one
of the human races which inhabit Karimere, and one of the hardiest and
most adaptable of all the races in the world. Even on the brink
of total annihilation, the Tamians fought for their freedom. Their
versatility allows them to take on a wide variety of careers, including
Priests, Paladins, Rogues, Wizards, or Rangers. Of the three choices, Tamians
have the highest strength and agility. They do NOT have infravision, which
makes light a requirement when hunting at night and fighting the Arnakians.
