Beautiful Bumblebee

Dance with me,
Beautiful Bumblebee,
In the flowers and the grass -
Oh, let this moment last!
You buzz freely in the air
High above and declare:
"Life is so grand,
But I hope you understand -
I can dance no more,
Flying is such a chore."
I know you must leave,
And your pain I wish to relieve.
My heart laden with sorrow,
I say good-bye till tomorrow.
"I'm at the end of an arduous war,
Tired and weary, I want to soar!"
I sing a prayer and set you free:
Blessed be forever you and me,
My Beautiful Bumblebee.

Preceeding You and I

Preceding you and I
Is our love, floating high
In the ethereal sky.
As I fall behind
Because our souls are intertwined,
And brighter than the sun ever shined,
You float back to earth,
With our love, and our mirth -
For nothing else in the world are they worth.

I Am the Leopard

I am the leopard
Unable to find its spots
A blooming red rose
Unable to rid myself of pink
An invisible world
Inhabited by all who see me

Take to the Air

I don't want to grow old with you,
Nor do I wish to die
As you lie by my side.
I only want to journey through life
On your outstretched wings,
Soaring atop the restless,
Flying beyond the boundless boundaries
Of this divinely mortal world.
Gliding overhead is such grand living
For those who never shall age
But for time, creeping -
Slowly crawling behind;
Prowling above the Moon,
Lurking in the Sun's shadows.
I do not wish to age forever with you,
But merely follow -
Flow with you into the sky
Where souls lie in great clusters.
I want solely to gather with you,
Fall into one of those bunches,
Illuminate your beautiful face
With that magnificent light;
To spread my wings, too,
And fly with you
Till the break of dawn,
Till we meet that single complacent instant
That will melt you into me,
And we become stardust,
Eternally glowing for each other.
