LOW BRASS
Since I play tuba and trombone, I have made this page, which is a dedication to all of the low-brass players out there. Low brass includes trombones, tubas, baritones, euphoniums and sousaphones.
Keep those notes a-rumbling!
Trombone
Sousaphone
Baritone
Euphonium
The difference between euphoniums and baritones is mainly the tubing. Baritone tubing remains mostly the same diameter until it reaches the bell. Euphoniums start out with a small diameter at the mouthpiece and gradually get wider.
The trombone pictured above is an F-attatchment trombone. Sousaphones are marching tubas.

My *Perfect* Bb Brass Ensemble
One Subcontrabass BBBb Tuba
Three BBb Tubas
One F-Attachment Bb Tenor Trombone
One Bb 4-Valve Upright-Bell Euphonium
One Bb 4-Valve Upright-Bell Baritone
One Bb Wagner Tuba (or Tuben)
Two Bb Mellophones
One Bb French Horn
One Bb Cornet
One Bb Trumpet
NOTE: I really DON'T like French Horns. I wanted to put in all Mellophones, but I thought better of it. Oh well. I only have a tuben in there because it's half-tuba, and I needed four tenor instruments. Oh well. Do mellophones have better projection than horns? I'll have to find that out. I'm gonna write a tuba paper!
