NFL Quarterback Club 2000
By

Acclaim showed some promise with Quarterback Club
'99. Still, there were some problems with the
game. Would those be fixed, making this the best
Football game on the N64? Far from it...

Boy,
did they screw this up bad. They tried to make
the players have realistic animations, and
instead they went way too far. Because of the
animations, the players don't stop and it takes
them a year to turn. The framerate is horrible,
making it too hard to do anything at times. And
is it just me, or does the head ref need a shave?
Gameplay:

Not
much to speak of here. Running game is
non-existent, unless you are the Quarterback.
Then you can run freely for big gains. You may
break a long run every so often, but don't count
on it. Passing game is just as bad. Because of
the graphic problems above, you can barely see
when the ball is close to the receiver. And
because you need to press a button for the
receiver to catch the ball, a lot of dropped
passes will result.
Sometimes
you'll see plays where there was clearly a fumble
but they'll call the player down. Sometimes they
continue the play way after it should have been
over, making you confused as to what's going on.
As
for the above and anything else, the framerate
makes the game unplayable.
Sound:

The
screaming of swear words, the throwing of a
controller hard into a wall, and the shutting off
of the system sound very realistic. As for the
game, the sounds are just as bad as everything
else is.

Returning
the game to the store will take a little while.
Other than that, this game is good for getting
you to sleep.
Bottom
Line
This
is the worst sports game on the N64. If not for a
crappy NES sports game, it would have been the
worst of all-time for me. If you see this game,
run as fast as you can in the other direction.
Final
Score: 2 out of 10
