    Pokemon Stadium

    By Jorden

Pokémon has got to be one of the best RPG's availble on the Game Boy or the Game Boy Color. Maybe people won't try to play it because of the kid cartoon show based off the GB game. Is this game worth your hard earned cash or was it just released to make easy money?

    Graphics: 8

The graphics in this game are top notch. The Pokemon look real and react just like they would if they really were being attacked. Makes them seem almost like real animals.

    Game Play: 6

Very simplistic, hit a C button to pick your move and that's about it. The Mario Party esque Mini-games add some nice variety.

    Sound: 5

Pretty good. Only one Pokemon sounds like his TV show counterpart and that would be Pikachu. All the others have the same cry as they had on the GB only it sounds a lot more real. The announcer gets repetitive very quickly!

    Lasting Value: 7

As long as you and your friends have Pokémon you can have endless battles thanks to the transfer pack. There are some hidden Pokémon that you can only get by playing the game and downloading them to your game boy game. Also the satisfaction of unlocking Mew and Mewtwo for rent must be really rewarding.

    Bottom Line:

Fun game, could get somewhat repetitive but with the inclusion of a transfer pack and if you have a friend that has one you could have some good matches.

Final Score: 7 out of 10 (this is not an average)
