| Welcome to this months Retro Review! This months review is Mario Kart! Mario Kart 64 was the Sequal to the SNES classic,Super Mario Kart. MK64(Not to be confused with Mortal Kombat 64) had 8 Characters and around 16 or so action packed tracks. The best thing was the Multiplayer modes including 'Battle' Mode where opponents try to eliminate their opponents using weapons such as Green Shells, Banana Skins and the fantastic Lightning! Up to Four Players could compete in the Battle/Grand Prix Arenas for multiplayer madness which meant there was no shortage of dead arms as your angry friends got taken out from behind with a Red Shell. Not even the toilet humor packed antics of Cartman and Co. in Southpark Rally could take Mario's Karting crown. Somehow the mix of shells,karts and Evil Koopas lives on in our Multiplaying game hearts-A True Classic! |
