The Atlantic Region includes New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, The island of Labrador, newfoundland, and parts of Quebec. This area is known for its excellent fishing grounds along the Continental Shelf. The area's natural harbours make it a great area exporting resources across the Atlantic Ocean. Most of this area is covered with highlands, and you guessed it, the Atlantic Ocean. The summers here are usually cool, around 17 degrees celcius, and the winters are warm, around -5 degrees celcius. Most of the population here lives in cities. In fact, this area has the highest population density in all of Canada. The main sources of income in this area are forestry, fishing, farming, mining, and tourisim. Oil and gas are also large sources of income for this reigion.
