Too Human
Silicon Knights...
Intro
You've played Eternal Darkness, and you loved it. How can Silicon Knights live up to such a great, mature title like that? Well, they lived up to Eternal Darkness before it was created. What the heck am I talking about? Long ago, Silicon Knights created a game called Too Human. A game that pushed the Playstation 1 to it's limits and was going to take up a whopping 4 disks! That was of course, until Nintendo bought Silicon Knights and the game was never released. SK put Too Human on the back burner and created Eternal Darkness Instead for the last 5 years or so. But now that Silicon Knights perfected Eternal Darkness. They are reviving their long-forgotten title, and this time for the Gamecube!
Story
The year is 2450 AD. Technology allows humans to 'upgrade' themselves to make them more, human if you will. The question is, can a being that is not completely machine nor completely human be accepted without prejudice? There is very little known about the details of the story. But. like Eternal Darkness, it will probably be complex and intelligently thought out.
Gameplay
Silicon Knights is sticking with the psychological thriller concept, though it won't have an insanity meter, you can expect some really cool and creative gameplay ideas. Since you play as a 'cyborg' you can decide how YOU want to upgrade your character's stamina, vision, strength, speed, etc. and doing so in different ways will affect the gameplay. SK says that the game will allow for you to make your character stealthy or you can run in the front door and kick butt depending on your preference. SK has created hours worth of high quality FF-style movies that get you to 'know' your character and how he thinks. Silicon Knights said that they want you to get into the game, so that you know your character so well that you begin to think like him in the game. It will be an sort of action/rpg since you work with your character to make hime stronger or stealthier or faster or whatever. This game has some serious potential. It is actually the pre-quel to Eternal Darkness in some ways since SK made it before hand. But with their experience in developing for the cube, this game should seriousl rock! And since they finished the hardest part of the game so long ago, they can now concentrate on upgrading graphics and tweaking gameplay. You can hope to see this game in mid-late 2003.
