Prince of Persia: Rival Swords is just The Two Thrones game rebranded. It's a carbon copy, so don't expect anything new.

The story goes that the Prince is returning to his city, Babylon, only to find it up in flames. His foe, the Vizier, has made himself immortal. In trying to save his friend, he gets himself turned into a Sand monster, or Dark Prince as we'll get to know him as.Although not completely as he changes form from time to time. But by messing with time he effectivly cancels what he did in the first two games. As a result the Vizier is able to resume his plans to take over the world.
The closest control scheme you could compare this games to is Twilight Princesses in that you control the character with the Nunchuk analog stick and attacks are executed by gesturing with the Wii Remote.
The camera is controlled by either tilting the Wii remote ( sucks) or using the D-pad(good).
The control scheme works very well, just as well as a traditional controller. But does it add to the experience? In someways yes and in other ways no.
For example, you can execute so called Speed Kills by swinging the Nunchuk down then swining the Wii Remote down in time with the attack. Though with actions such as running across walls and jumping etc. it feels the same as a Gamecube.
Half good...................Half bad

              Graphics: 7/10
    Overall: 8.5/10
The audio in this game is brilliant. There is plenty of dialouge between the Prince and others characters, and even himself!
The music is very atmospheric and the sound effects are spot on.
If you have never played The Two Thrones , then by all means pick this game up. You will thouroghly enjoy it.
However if you have already played Two Thrones the is nothing here to warrant purchasing Rival Swords
The graphics have not been improved on over the Gamecube version. The are not bad, per se , but the are hardly impressive, even for a Wii game. The lighting effects are good and the frame rate never drops. But up close some textures may blur.
