Issue details

Issue One
72 pages
Fully completed on the 5th of the 11th, 2002.
Ha ha! After a shockingly prodigal amount of time, the first issue of Nintendo Plus appears and clears its throat with thespian panache. Inside, behind the infamous minimalist cover, readers may enjoy the very first instalments of the beloved regular features, the continuing deeds of Sherlock Holmes, an interview with Jonathan Davies, a handy guide to emulation, a bit detailing every single proper Pac-Man arcade game, some Obviously False Letters, Adams wholly random manga reviews and several other bits and pieces.

Reviews include:
Super Mario Sunshine
Pikmin
Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon
(marking the start of the fanzines current Goemon obsession)
Pilotwings 64
Mischief Makers
Paper Mario
Advance Wars
and
EarthBound
interspersed with reviews of the Interesting and/or Obscure, as is the fanzines preference.

Our stock of special full-colour issues is dwindling! Hurry!

Issue Two
70 pages
Fully completed on the 7th of the 7th, 2003 (but delayed by subsequent events, natch)
Having braved Issue Ones initial printing conundrums, the fanzine is doubly strong and resilient! Behold its steely nerve and Parodius sprites. Inside, readers may enjoy continued portions of the regulars, the further adventures of our Sidney Paget Sherlock Holmes image, an extensive look at the Game Boy (through the ages, natch), a big article on Rare (following the famous defection), an interview with the exceedingly smashing Wil Overton (who now works at Rare, but cant tell us anything about it due to LIFE-THREATENING RULES), a Mister Unsound Star Fox Adventures special and more traditionally irrelevant stories and bonus bits.

Reviews include:
The Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker
Metroid Prime
Metroid Fusion
TimeSplitters 2
and, amongst many others
Doshin the Giant
glued together with a properly expansive selection of Interesting and/or Obscure SNES and NES games (including yes! some more Goemon ones).

Issue Two: is now available to order.
(Incidental status report: has found a home over here.)
