| March 16, 2003 Still making headway with the pictures. Working on it as I write this. I think my mask of pan photo turned out great. He reminds me of the painting in "Ghostbusters 2" because when you take pictures of him he looks ten times as pyschotic as he does in real life. I should probably mention the fact that I usually write in the evening. It makes more sense, for one thing, since I've had time to live through a couple adventures during the day thus supplying wonderful inspiration. Right now, however, I am writing before noon. No reason other than a different schedule today. Thought I'd try something new. How spontaneous of me! It would be weird if I had to go to court the same day my dad has to go to jury duty..the seventh of April, I think. He was not too happy because in the summons they said that shorts weren't allowed. I finally washed the car. It is amazing how filthy it gets, especially considering I don't even drive it to school (which is one of the few places I go). Guess it is the dust in the air. Lately I have had the sudden urge to put up more pictures and drawings in my room. I have mixed emotions about that. On one hand I'll be having to take them all down in about two and a half months anyway, but on the other hand, its not hard to take them down and why not enjoy my room (to the fullest) while I can? I finished The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. I'll just say this: with Stephen King its hit or miss. And in the spirit of baseball..because of the book...I would have to call Tom Gordon a foul ball. Yesterday when I babysat I was basically just hanging out with the kids watching movies they rented. It reminded me of hanging out with V years ago when we'd rent movies and watch them in the middle of the day..B/horror movies. Teeny bopper movies. We always had the best conversation while a movie was playing in the background. I haven't downloaded music in about a month. I heard that Kazaa.com might be going under some legal battles so now I'm paranoid that by the time I get back into the swing of things a cop is going to burst into my room and say "hands up! We know you just tried to download a Men At Work song!" That is my nightmare..alarms going off..swat men swarming my neighborhood..trampling my parents garden. I think the worst part would be that people would know they kind of things I listen to. Men At Work is not a pleasure I tend to advertise. Time to go. I'll probably add to this at the end of the day when I have something cool to say. I need to go have an adventure first. Maybe a good day for graveyard exploration? If this is my last entry you'll know what happened.. Back |
