Power of Prayer
"Father, the time has come.  Glorify your Son, that your son may glorify you.  For you granted him authority over all people that he might give enternal life to all those you have given him.  Now this is enternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.  I have brought you glory on earth by completing work you gave me to do.  And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began".  John  17:1-5
"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.  May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.  I have given them the golry that you gave me, that they be one as we are one:I in them and you in me.  May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.  Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.  "Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they that you have sent me.  I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them."     John  17:20-26
Jesus prays:
Do you pray for people so they may know God the way you know God?  Jesus prayed for everyone, he didn't care who they were or what they had done before.  Jesus just wanted everyone to have the love form God that he was fortunate to have.  When we pray lets not forget about the people in our life that we sometimes forget about.  For everyone needs the power of prayer.
