(please please please ignore my apparent obsession with ellipsis here.  I tend to go in and out of ‘ellipse phases’, so yeah.  Oh and the below author note may not make sense, but that’s okay.  This chapter is roughly two pages.  Once again, very short.)

Oh, man…I cracked myself up by reading the sixth chapter again…o.o;…I needed to be re informed about what happened…and plus I needed to fix the spelling mistakes…since I haven’t’ posted it yet…^_^…I tend to post in chunks……its not that good of a thing though…anyway…to clear something up…:  me and Aki at one point in time were having a ‘big word’ battle…just like I have a ‘bunny ears’ war going on with my brother right ‘now’…so if I use them incorrectly…that’s why…  onto another ‘different chapter’  ENJOY!…(or die! -.-)

Unleash Your Secrets

Chapter Eight

‘Startling Sight’

“Sorry Wu-man…”  Jaye said.  She walked over to the desk and opened a drawer and found a key.  man…dumber than I thought…”

Jaye unlocked the already loosened shackle and placed it tightly around Wu-man’s ankle, then stuck the key into her pocket, along with the red stained twine; it could come in handy later.

She grabbed her visor, sunglasses, keys, the gun, and put her laptop in its case.  Oncing-over the room, she slung the laptop case over her shoulder and glanced at the wall with her pictures on it.  She noticed a few pictures of her sleeping, ‘How the hell…’ Then she spotted a picture of her with her ex, which placed a scowl on her face.

Jaye casually walked out of the room, sweeping aside the thought of everything that they obviously have seen.  She checked to her left, and checked to her right; heard nothing, saw nothing, smelled nothing…(hypothetically  ^_^)

Jaye decided to go to her right, creeping down the hall with Braid’s pistol in hand.  She then thought of James Bond and the ‘Mission Impossible’ music started to ring through her mind; it made her smile.

She came to the end of the hall.  Seeing no doors, the only option was to follow the hall and go right, so she did.  This hall though was much shorter, was a dead end, with one door.

Jaye entered the only door; it was on her left.  She gaped at what she first saw, but was also embarrassed that she was so stupid and didn’t remember that Maxwell wasn’t taking his shower anymore—she hadn’t heard any singing.

The Braid was just buttoning his jeans, when she walked in.  He was standing, back to her, with his shirt off.  And while she had opened the door quietly, she totally forgot to shut it quietly.  On its own, the door clicked shut.  The attractive young man turned around, startled.

He too was surprised that she was there.

“Whoa…the chick…How did you…”  He started.

“I—um…”  She pointed her thumb behind her, “He um—ah…let me go…for a walk…” She found it difficult so speak, so she smiled ‘sweetly’, staring at his built body.

“Oh…if Wu-man said so…”  He walked toward her, slipping a white tee-shirt over his head.

Ummmm….”  She mumbled, stepping back against the door, loosely holding onto the gun, much less her mind, which was slipping away into dream land.

“A walk huh?”  He asked, putting a black sweater over the white shirt, getting closer to her.

“Uh huh…”  Jaye said, spaced out.

Maxwell walked up inches in front of her and placed a hand on the door by her head.  He leaned in to where his face was close enough that if he moved closer she probably wouldn’t see his face clearly.  He gave her a seductive smile and set his other hand on her right shoulder, slowly moving it down, until it met her hand.  Gently he took the gun from her grasp, while staring into her almost emotionless black eyes.

His expression changed from tempting, to apologetic as he pointed the gun at her arm quickly firing it.

Jaye’s eyes looked at him frantically shocked for a second, then she fell onto his shoulder, limp.  Gotta love the tranq. gun!”  Maxwell said lightheartedly, and picked her up into his arms.

With great difficulty, Braid Finally got her to a chair.  He went to check on Wu-man, and waited for the others to return.
