Well well well…movin on up on the chapters, huh?…anyway…I didn’t ‘author note’ at the beginning of the last few chapters cause I thought I would have interupted  the ‘flow’ of the chapters…cause originally they were one chapter…but I thought about it and ‘how could I have gotten the ‘flashback’ to look right’ and my answer was as it is now…another short-ish chapter for ya…but anyway…^_^   enjoy!  Look, its THREE pages! *cough*  This’s nothing compared to the 24 page chappy later on…>.>)

Unleash Your Secrets

Chapter Five

‘Digital Diction’

 

 

 

When Jaye got home, she was tired of hiding.  She wanted to tell the ‘five men’ to go away.  She was furious.  But the white van was no where.  Everywhere she went, she wasn’t able to be Jaye Heim anymore.  Her hair was no longer uniquely red; instead it was a plain black.  And her beautiful red eyes; they were always covered.  She was as The Girl had said to be—just another face in the crowd.

 

She changed into some comfortable clothes.  She wore her hair in a loose braid, and had on her black cargoes, that fit her waist nicely.  She completed the outfit with a black tank top.

 

Since no more house work was to be done, Jaye decided to write.  She got out her slick laptop and plugged it in.  As soon as it booted, she signed on the net for any research that she might need, and started clicking away.

 

Jaye had been writing stories for years; about secret agencies, trust and betrayal, far away lands that opposed the Earth, some were romance, some were humor, and she had a few fanfics (from when she was younger), ect.  But she had been writing this story for about two months, in frustration that she had no clue who the men were that were stalking her.  She wrote the best when angry.

After writing for a good two hours, Jaye decided to get a snack.  She stood up and walked over to her pantry.  Looking for something tasty, she heard the ring of her instant messenger service on her laptop.

 

Jaye grabbed a cookie and walked over to her laptop.  She screen said:

 

          Shinigami 2:  Hey babe!

 

“Some kid…”  Jaye muttered aloud.  She closed the instant message window and started back on her story.  Then another instant message popped up.

 

          Shinigami 2:  Why did you close the IM box?   =/

 

Frustrated, she typed back.

 

          Use D Heim Lick:  Because you are some punk-ass kid, only looking for a good time.  >O

 

She clicked out again.

 

And it popped up again:

 

          Shinigami 2:  No I’m not, hunny.   >.>……but if you insist…

 

She couldn’t believe this.  He won’t leave her alone.

 

        Use D Heim Lick:  grrrr

 

        Shinigami 2:  I’m sorry Jaye, I was just kidding  ^_^

 

She was about to block him, but then she started to wonder, ‘How did he know my name?’ and ‘How did he know that I clicked out of the IM box before?’

 

          Use D Heim Lick:  …you have my attention.  Talk.

 

All of her interest was directed at the computer.

 

        Shinigami 2:  We’ve been watching you, Jaye Heim.

 

        Use D Heim Lick:  I know.  What the hell do you want??

 

        Shinigami 2:  you.  (not like that, cutie ^^)

 

        Use D Heim Lick:  …-_-;  damn you.

 

Jaye signed off the internet and saved her story.  She put her laptop in its case and slung it over her shoulder.  She walked over to her shoes and put them on.  She then slipped on her sunglasses and black visor, and put her keys in her pocket.

 

She took a calming breath, then opened her front door.  Walking outside, she spotted the white van and determinedly, she marched over to it.

 

She knocked on the side.

 

“Who is it,” came a squeaky, high pitched voice, made (obviously) by a man.

 

“You know exactly who it is!!”  Jaye said angrily.

 

“Do I?”  This time it was a man’s voice.  The door opened and two visible men sat there on each side of the door.  One man had a long brown braid; the other had a very large piece of brown hair covering his face, just like The Girl had described

 

“I do know you!”  Said the man with the braid, and the two of them grabbed Jaye by her arms, pulling her into the van as it sped away.

Oh no! what will happen! Oh my!….yeah…just feet like being cheesy for a second…^_^

 

well the chapter was short and effective…and its my fave chapter so far…(not my fave later on…o.o;)

 

(if that wasn’t a confusing online conversation to you…)  (but I’ve had even more confusing…and I was the confuser)

 

Bonus sec.   (yes I didn’t say I had a bonus section!…cause its a bonus…you don’t usually say there will be a bonus…but here goes…)

 

 

Shinigami 2  =   this was an obvious thing, to me at least, to who was talking to her over the net…Duo is Shinigami and pilot two…hence his sn! (boy, everyone was confused on that one.  Not.)

 

Use D Heim Lick  =  well Jaye’s last name is Heim…so I decided to do a play on words for her sn…^_^  I think its cute…and I might make a rendition of that for a sn of mine…just cause I feel like it…^_^
