Priscus is only 1300 years old, a child compared to the elders of his Clan.
He served with the Berber soldiers under general Tarik and helped to bring
the Iberian penninsula under the rule of the Moors. Granted a lage tract
of land near Cordoba under the rule of emir Abd al Rahman, Konstantin had
thought to have enough of blood and violence, seeking instead to live the
peaceful life of a farmer.
It was not to remain so. As the whole of Europe was gripped by the struggles of holy war between Christian knights and their "infidel" southern neighbors, Konstantin was again pulled into war. Fighting against Charlemagne and his troops, who viewed the presence of Mohhamadans in Spain as an insult, Konstantin was seriously wounded. His men took him to a beautiful and skilled "nurse", whom they had heard had the ability to raise the dead, and keep the nearly dead from departing this world. His "nurse" was actually Marie Priscus, who took pity on the dying soldier, and gave him the ultimate cure - immortality. Shortly after his embrace, Marie left Spain, and Konstantin was forced to make his way through his new life alone. Konstantin has spent the years since his embrace as a hired mercenary. As the years went on, and battle technologies changed, Konstantin became more and more dangerous to his foes. He rarely misses with a gun or bow. Despite his separation from his sire, he has nonetheless remained quite abreast of Priscus activities, mostly due to his long-time friendship with Marcus Moore. The two Priscus are rarely apart, seeking to conquor both women and their enemies side by side. Few women protest. Few foes survive. Konstantin came to LA to aide Marie in her battle to regain her power. He has no respect for other Clans, feeling them almost beneath notice. In the Clan's shift to New York City, the solider turned Kindred hopes to both solidify the Clan's position, and capture Marie's heart. Like most romantic men of his time, Konstantin's one weakness
is women. He has difficulty seeing them as enemies, no matter what their
Clan affiliation. His romantic dalliances have gotten into hot water
more then once, and include such lusty Kindred lovelies as Daya and Aurelia
Di Nerezza. He has never recovered from his affair with Marie, however,
and would do most anything to recapture her heart.
