Walker Safe House(#2832RAJ)
This small tenement building is a work that any interior decorator would be proud of. The building is somehow filled with light and space, despite the fact that the room is far from large. Mirrored surfaces and lush green potted plants are much in evidence - jarring only slightly with the video cameras that perch unobtrusively in various locations. A small sign on the wall lists the number of apartments upstairs as eight, though there are no names next to the apartment numbers. A very thick door leads downstairs, with no visible method of being opened - except a keypad next to it. A monitor is perched above the entrance, showing images from the hidden camera that watches the outside of the building.
The lobby branches off into what appears to be a small recreation room; for use only by residents and their guests. Much like the rest of the building, mirrors are prominent. There is a pool table set up in one half of the room, along with a small fridge for storing drinks and a cabinet for snackables. The remainder is dominated by a large home theater system, with an incredibly expensive-looking couch in front of it. The couch nearly screams out, 'Don't spill anything'. For those who might, there are also two matching side-chairs, and a bean-bag on the floor - far too close to the television to be good for anyone's eyes.

The phone rings.

Dizzy blinks and gets up to walk over to pick up the phone. "Hello?" she asks as she places the receiver to her ear.

".. Um.. Hey.. Um.... Amanda. Its me Jeremy." The kin boy stammers out softly across the phone. "I.. Um.. was wondering um... ya'know, if' yer not busy doing anything ta'night. Um... maybe we can hang out again. If.. um... If you want."

Arg! Why does he have to call her that. That always throws Dizzy off. "Sure," she says after a short pause, "Sounds fun. I'm not doing anything around here."

"Ok.. So um..should I.. uh.. bring anything over?"

"If you want," Dizzy says, twirling a lock of hair in her finger idly. "Probably should pick up dinner or something. I'd say let's go out, but there has been no change on that front."

"Um.. Ok.. sure. I'll bring something by. Maybe Taco Bell or Carl's. I'll see you in a bit."

"Bye," she says, hanging up the phone. Dizzy looks toward the bathroom, wondering if she has time to take a quick shower and freshen up. Deciding that there probably isn't enough time for that, she goes in to check her makeup and hair.

After about twenty minutes, there's a light knocking on the front door of the safe house.

Dizzy comes down the staircase and goes over to the door. "Sorry," she mutters to herself. At the door she straightens out her blouse and takes a deep breath before opening the door and smiling, "Hey, Jeremy."

Maybe to much of the girl's suprprise -- Jermey is without glasses. He has contacts on, and his hair is messily combed backwards and gelled. He has on a simple shirt still, but a more current pair of jeans, BOSS to be exact. He's holding two bags of Taco Bell. "Um.. got nacho's. Figure they were safe.."

Dizzy nods, apparently approving of Jeremy's choice in attire, ushering him in. "Safe, huh?" she says, shaking her head with a grin. "Safe from what, Jer?"

"I dunno, possibly an upset stomach. Most people do not approve of Taco Bell for some reason, so I didn't think burrit's would suffice." Jeremy heads inside, looking perhaps a bit uncomfortable, not being used to 'slighty larger then normal' jeans.

Dizzy watches him walk with a slightly amused look on her face as she closed the door. "Well, they're not going to get you an angry dinner mate."

Jeremy sits down on the couch and scoots up close to the cushions, placing the bags down next to him. "I got um...surpreme's tho'. With Sour cream and the beef and stuff. At least the nacho's won't be boring. So, what are your plans for tonight?"

Dizzy shrugs, taking a seat on the other side of the nachos. "I don't have plans much anymore, Jer. Just training in the morning and that's it."

"Well, I'll still hook you up with those online courses through SCCU if you want. Its no problem at all. I even brought a course guide." Jeremy pulls out a catalog from his back pocket and hands it over.

"Thanks," Dizzy says, taking the catalog, "I'll look through this and see what's up."

Jeremy nods his head and opens up the bags of food. ".. So um... you doing alright?" He asks, cautiously.

Dizzy nods, "Yeah, I'm doing fine. How're you holding up?"

Jeremy smiles at her, dipping his head forward. "I'm doing better, fine actually. I have an interview at a local retail store that sells computers, who knows..maybe I'll get it."

"That'll be good, make some money, get away from the crazies," Dizzy notes with a grin.

Jeremy grins back. "Yah, too many crazies around here." He teases.

Dizzy starts picking at the nachos, "God, it's been hard to talk to Sophie lately. I can't really say anything to her, but I don't want her to get the wrong idea."

Jeremy cants his head to the side. "What do you mean?" He asks, wetting his lips a bit before popping a nacho into his mouth.

"You know," Dizzy says matter-of-factly, "Us hanging out and such. This is the second night in a row we've had dinner together."

Jeremy blinks his eyes at that, brushing away his bangs. "... Oh.. Um... has she talked about that or something?"

"Not really. But she's not dumb and there are cameras all over this building." Dizzy looks over at a corner of the room and points towards the camera hanging there. "Big Brother is watching."

Jeremy turns his head a bit over and shrugs. "So? We aren't making out or anything, holding hands an stuff. Just eating an watching TV." He doesn't seem to mind, or care.

"I know, but... if my most recent ex-boyfriend started hanging out with my roommate a whole lot right after we broke up, _I_ would be suspicious," Dizzy explains, gesturing to herself on the emphases to drive the point home.

Jeremy turns his head and glances back at her, then shrugs. "Does she have any reason to feel suspicious?" He asks, peering into her eyes.

"No," Dizzy says _way_ to quickly."But... you know how it is when you try to explain a pecular action to someone. Automatically they assume the worst and that you're lying to try and cover it up."

Jeremy nods his head slightly and rolls his shoulders back. "Well.. maybe we shouldn't hang out as much then?" He asks, pushing himself up to brush the nacho crumbs off his jeans.

"I suppose, but you're the only normal person I can talk to. You're around the same age as me, we go to the same school. I can ignore all the crazy stuff when I talk to you." Dizzy pulls a napkin out of the bag and hands it to the kin boy, in case he wants to wipe his mouth, too.

Jeremy takes the napkin, his fingers brushing past hers for a brief moment. "Yah, normal eh'?" A light chuckle as he brings up the paper rag to dab at his lips. "I should get going tho'. Maybe I can stop by later tonight or something?"

"Well I don't mind. You're always welcome her when I'm around, and I don't think I'll be going anywhere for quite some time." Dizzy scoops up as much of the bean/salsa/cheese/sour cream gunk as she possibly can on a single chip. "As I understand it, I'll be stuck here for at least a couple of months," she adds before devoring the chip.

Jeremy nods his head and makes his way to the door, a slight smile forming along his lips as he gazes over his shoulder to her. "I'll bring over Space Balls tonight then. See ya later."

Space Balls? Must be some sort of computer game. Dizzy offers Jeremy a smile and a wave. "Okay. I'll see you later, then."

Jeremy nods and slips out the door, a smile born upon his face.
