| Here�s a quick recap of our weekend in Las Vegas. Hopefully I�ll get around to writing up a more coherent review eventually, although I think this covers just about everything. On Saturday morning we saw Nick arrive at the hotel around 4:45 am, and AJ rolled in about 5:30. We didn�t stop either one of them because we didn�t want to intrude. There were absolutely no other fans around, so I guess that was our little exclusive moment. Nick � wearing a black baseball cap, a white t-shirt, and white basketball shorts with black stripes down the sides � came back downstairs with Bean and another friend between 5:30 and 6 am and gambled until around 8 am. Again we didn�t stop him, just observed. From his quick pace and lack of eye contact, he seemed like he didn�t want to be disturbed, although Bean made lots of eye contact. *gag* We ran into AJ by accident in the hotel lobby around 1 pm Saturday afternoon. He had just come back from playing golf (still carrying his clubs, wearing a black baseball cap, a white polo shirt, black pants, and white golf shoes, carrying flipflops in his hand) and was planning on taking a nap before the show. He was extremely sweet and took time to have lengthy, detailed conversations with lots of fans, including us. Apparently he�s very homesick for his �four-legged son.� Awwww! The soundcheck was PACKED. I bet at least 100 people got in, including a big group of Japanese tourists but not including us. *pout* Marcus had extra wristbands in his pocket, but he wasn�t giving them out because it was already so crowded. Oh well, it gave us a chance to finally eat and relax. After the concert we saw Brian and Leighanne head out into the hotel casino, but their security said they weren�t going to stop. They ended up in a private gaming room. A little while later we also saw Kevin and Kristin head out of the hotel, but Kevin just smiled and waved and kept on walking. Surprisingly we had no other BSB sightings that night (even though we stayed up until almost 5 am), but we did see PRINCE! He came down out of the elevator with a few other people and we think he headed to the HOB Foundation Room. The man is TINY, and he was wearing a purple suit. lol Nick � wearing a black beanie, a black t-shirt, jeans, and white tennis shoes � spent most of the afternoon today (Sunday) gambling. He kept bouncing between blackjack, roulette, and craps. We stayed quite a distance away from him so I don�t know how much luck he was having, but he never stopped at an ATM and at one point we did see him with a wad of cash in his hand. There were several people with him, including Bean and an obviously non-platonic petite woman. She and Nick were pretty much hanging all over each other, that is when he wasn�t hanging all over Bean. I think seeing Nick with his arms around Bean is more disturbing than seeing Nick with a woman. lol We tried to approach Nick a few times today when he was walking between the casino and the elevators and the place where he ate, but each time he said that either he�d stop later or he was busy. He was never rude � I think a lot of fans misinterpret his quiet demeanor � but it was still kind of disappointing. BTW the t-shirt Nick was wearing today said, �I�m two girls short of a threesome.� Any volunteers? As of 5:15 pm today Nick was still in Vegas with his friends. Allegedly Kevin was too, although we hadn�t seen him since around 1 pm when he and Kristin were being escorted to a private area of the pool by a hotel employee. His swim trunks are black in case you�re wondering. lol Concert notes JWYTK was filmed for the Jerry Lewis Telethon next weekend. AJ gave it a long intro and said that he�d always wanted to say, �This is for Jerry�s kids.� Since the telethon is like 24 hours long, Lord knows when BSB�s segment will air, but it�ll definitely be something to look for. The performance was AWESOME. At one point Nick grabbed one of the professional video cameras and started filming the audience and the other guys, which they showed a little of on the big screen. It was like Nick�s Corner Live! lol Brian told an adorable story about how upon their arrival at the hotel that morning, Baylee was sort of in awe of all the lights and said, �Vegas Vegas Vegas.� Sooooo cute! Nick wore a button down shirt (rather than a t-shirt) under his suit coat for the middle section of the concert, the �dressy� part. When he finally took off the coat he revealed that the shirt was SLEEVELESS. *thud* During Nick and AJ�s banter about smooth BSB vs. dirty BSB (which was both sexy and adorable BTW), I think Nick called AJ a motherf****er. lol I know he said �mother� but he could have substituted another word for the last part so it just sounded bad without actually saying it. I don�t know for sure, but I was pretty surprised. AJ got hurt towards the end of the concert, before they sang Weird World. He mouthed, �It hurts so bad,� to Nick while they were sitting at the piano. Then for the encore AJ just stayed in one place while the other guys danced. He didn�t even come to the front to bow, and he literally hopped off stage with the help of security. Later we talked to Marcus about AJ�s injury, and he said that it was just a sprained ankle and that AJ would be fine. Marcus didn�t seem too concerned. And finally just some of my random opinions� I LOVE when the guys dance, especially during LTL and AIHTG. It�s so old school. lol Memories� *sigh* I also love when Nick plays the guitar. It makes him look even sexier than usual, if that�s possible. Fake snow or not, the best parts of Siberia are still Nick�s ad-libs towards the end. Other than that, the song is a waste. I forgot how much I love The One. It�s been a long time since I�ve seen that live. Nick�s overly emotional facial expressions during SMTM are hysterical! I know he was trying to be all serious, but I couldn�t help laughing at him. He was getting so into it you would have thought his dog had just been hit by a car. As Debi said, too bad he didn�t act that well in The Hollow. lol Nick needs a hair cut BAD. I met and reconnected with a lot of super sweet BSB fans this weekend. Alyssa, Jennifer, Katie, Laurel, Jocelyn, Belle, Farrah, Jessica, and everyone else, thanks for sharing a great time!
