If you can get this combo, you'll be able to do very long combos with each character since all characters use very similar techniques. I'm going to explain how the power meter works, and some cool stuff you'll like to know. ************* *Power Meter* ************* If you see below your energy bar after being hit or doing a combo breaker you'll see you have some kind of little red or yellow blocks filling. This is your power meter. This thing is very useful while doing combos. Your power meter will grow when: -you do a combo breaker -you're hit -your opponent blocks any spetial move of yyours -you do a slow-motion combo finisher -etc... And your power meter will decrease when: -you do a super move -you do a shadow move -you do a super linker -you do a super ultra finisher move -etc... You power meter has 6 blocks to be fill and refill. 12 blocks. When the 6 red blocks are fill your power meter will start flashing. If you keep filling it you'll see that yellow blocks are showing over the red ones. When you refill your power meter with the 6 yellow blocks this means that you have filled your power meter at maximum :D . ************** *spetial move* ************** Besides the punches and kicks you have the spetial moves. These ones require you to do a complicated joystick motion and a button press. Most of these are combo openers. ************ *Super Move* ************ To do one of these you have to do a complicated joystick motion and a button press, just like the spetial moves .These beautyful things look awesome and do such a great damage to your opponent. But so do to your power meter :P . This can be used as a combo finisher, as a juggle, or just alone. ************* *Shadow Move* ************* It's a super move that is really fast and makes you have some reflex-sahdows behind. ************** *Combo Opener* ************** A combo opener is a spetial move that can have several hits and sometimes a combo finisher after it. To do the several hits after this you can use a manual-manual auto-double, an automatic-chain auto-double, or a manual-automatic auto-double. ************* *Auto-Double* ************* An auto-double is a two hitting attack that can or maybe must be done after a starter or a linker. There are three kind of auto-double. -Automatic-Chain Auto-Doubles These ones are easy to do. If you do a opener or linker with a fierce button, the automatic-chain A-D should be done with any medium button. If your opener or linker is medium your chain should be quick. If quick, the chain fierce. Your number of A-C A-D into a combo is limited. -Manual-Manual Auto-Doubles These can be done alone, after a linker, after an opener or after an automatic-chain A-D. To do it you have to be close to your opponent and press any fierce attack, and quickly a medium attack afterwards. Jago has something spetial: a M-M A-Triple. This is the way to do it: Fierce Punch, Medium Punch, Medium Punch. -Manual-Automatic Auto-Double These one can be done whenever you want, except after an auto-double. Each character has his way to do it. It's most of times done as a F or B joystick motion and a press (F+# or B+#). ******** *Linker* ******** A linker is a move that can be done after an auto-double so you can do after this another auto-double. There are a limit of these ones. If you do one more up to the limit your opponent will fall. There are 2 kind of linkers: -Normal Linker It's a combo opener used into a combo -Super Linker This thing will consume 3 blocks of your power meter and will add 5 hits to your combo. So that means that you can do 4 of these if your power meter is full. Each character has 2 different super linkers. **************** *Combo Finisher* **************** A combo finisher is like a spetial move but this is done into a combo and finishes it with a very spetial attack. There are many kind of combo finishers. -Normal Combo Finisher This one is like any kind of spetial move, but it can hit up to 4 times -Slow-Motion Combo Finisher This is a normal combo finisher but with a very slow animation (obvious). To perform it you have to do the joystick motion of the normal combo finisher twice and the button press. There you go. When you do one of these your power meter will grow a little bit. -Fast-Motion Finisher To do it just press the button of your normal finisher a little bit before, and when you do your normal combo joystick motion release the button. -Hidden Finisher All the characters have 4 different normal combo finishers. When the match starts the normal combo finishers just hit once. Every time you do one of the 4 different finishers your combo finishers will have one more hit. This means you can have 4 hitter normal combo finishers. If you have already done the 4 different finishers in the same match you can now do the hidden combo finisher. This finisher has 5 hits to give. -Mini Ultra When you're doing a combo to your opponent while he has no energy in his first energy bar you can do a Mini Ultra finisher. This adds many hits to your combo. -Ultra If you are doing a combo to your opponent while he has his red energy bar flashing or gone you can do the ultra finisher. This will add many many hits to your last combo of the match. Your ultra will have more hits as you have done more different normal combo finishers before. Now if you have done the 4 normal finishers and also the hidden, your ultra will be at his maximum of hits. Also you can do a super ultra finisher move while your character is doing his cool moves. The ultra can be fast or slow like the other finishers! -Super Ultra Finisher Move While your character is doing his ultra moves you can do a spetial motion that will give some extra hits to your ultra combo. It's kind of hard to time. -Ultimate Just like the ultra, has to be done while your opponent's red energy bar is flashing or gone into a combo. This will not add many hits, but will do a brutal attack, like fataliti*s in MK. -No Mercy Like Ultimates but outside a combo. Can be blocked. ******** *Juggle* ******** After doing a combo that sends you opponent to the air you can do a spetial move called juggle. This attack hits your opponent while falling and adds more hits to your combo. ********* *Counter* ********* When you are going to be hit by a fierce attack you can press B+1. This will "counter" the opponent move. Now you can do quickly your character predeterminated triple move after this. The triple move is a spetial move that normally does 1 hit, but after the counter does 3. ********************************************************************** 4.JAGO Jago's got such a long story thru KI. He is a monk that after fighting in the Killer Instinct Tournament has a great rivality with Fulgore. Actually, his story is longer, but we aren't here to hear stories, we are here to kick some asses with Jago.
