Council Information

Nina Council serves three Parishes in the far southern suburbs of Chicago. Those Parishes are St. Irenaeus and St. Mary in the village of Park Forest, and St. Lawrence O'Toole in the village of Matteson.

Council Meetings

Regular meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at 8 PM. They are proceeded by a supper at 7PM. The Officers meet the proceeding Wednesday. Meetings are held at St. Irenaeus in the Parish Center basement. 

About our Council

Our Council was founded in 1953 as St. Irenaeus Council. It was later changed to Nina Council. Our Council works closely with the three Parishes, providing support for various projects and activities. You will find a Knight working in the parishes in the Parish Council, PADS, Finance Committee, School Board and Ushers just to name a few.
