Doherty left the WB show at the end of last season - slamming Milano (though not by name) and insinuating that Milano had her fired.
"If I had that kind of power I don't know what I'd be doing, but no, I don't have that kind of pull," Milano told last night's "Access Hollywood."
The coverage of her troubles with Doherty "was definitely blown out of proportion," Milano said. "You know, when you're working that constantly with someone, you're not always going to get along. But I was one of 75 other people that were [on the set] daily. So, there were times that I wasn't the only one not being gotten along with.
"I learned a great, great Sanskrit word, ‘Ahisma,' and it's the ideal of not being hurtful," she said. "I'm trying very hard not to do that. But I feel that everyone in the show . . . knows the truth of the situation and that's the most important thing to me."
