Johann Pachelbel (Composer)
Late 17th/early 18th Century German composer and organist. Close friend of the Bach family, taught music to young Johann Christoph Bach. Prolific and influential in his day but now mainly known for this piece which is extremely popular for weddings, especially in the US.
