Prue has a chance at a photographer's job with a glossy magazine. To get the job she must successfully complete an assignment photographing Maggie Murphy, a local philanthropist who is experiencing an extended run of bad luck and has become known as San Francisco's unluckiest woman. When Prue arrives to do the shoot she finds Maggie preparing to commit suicide. Prue soon discovers that a Dark Lighter is responsible for Maggie's troubles and casts a spell to restore Maggie's peace of mind. The Dark Lighter then turns his wrath on Prue, giving her the same treatment he gave Maggie and driving her too to the brink of suicide. It's up to Piper and Phoebe, assisted by Leo (who has his White Lighter status restored in this episode) to defeat the Dark Lighter and rescue Prue.
