1. The North Pole is at the top of the world.
2. Our Earth revolves from west to east.
3. The Sun rises in the east.
4. We revolve around the sun in a counterclockwise direction.
Are all those statements true?
If you answered yes, you could be wrong. It all depends on your view.
What most people do not understand about our world is that the
people who lived on the Northern half of the Earth wrote the rules
of Astronomy. And they wrote it from their point of view, which is
to say, from the Northern half of the earth.
We really hang suspended in space where there really is no up or
down except from your own point of view. Picture No 1 is the view
from the Northern half of the Earth, but turn it upside down in
Picture No 2 and take the Southern Peoples point of view and you
get a completely different picture.
The South Pole now becomes the top of the world and the Sun rises
in the west and the earth is revolving from East to West on its
axes, while it revolves around the sun clockwise.......!
(note; I made a mistake in my drawing without realizing that I have us
going clockwise for the northern half and counter for the southern half.
please consider them reversed until I get to do them over again.)
